· Designed and implemented an Electronic Alarm Inductive and Optical pick off for Mechanical Flow Indicators. To increase product market share and expand product application. I.S. FM approved.
· Installed optical sensors for flow monitoring. Glass purge meter application
· Led a cost reduction project for the screw feeder product line. Installed commercially available gear reducer with a safety clutch. Annual savings in excess of $180,000.
· Developed customized Sales/Marketing Software based on Visual Basic 6 platform for Order Entry and Selection of Flow Meters.
· Designed new Armored Flow Meter “ArmaView II” for semiconductor industry and chemical plants analyzers. Rated to 1500 psi pressure and 400º F.
· Led design team to develop Liquid Vacuum Feed System.
· Designed sheet metal precision parts, plastic injection molded parts using ABS, Lexan, PVC, Kynar and other plastic materials for use in high temperature and corrosive applications. Designed parts for aluminum die casting enclosures and meter frames. Designed investment casting body for pressure controller that significantly reduced tooling cost. ($9000)
· Designed aluminum sand casting enclosure for electronic 4 to 20 µa transmitter. Approved as explosion proof FM listed product.
· Worked with vendors to facilitate molding process and tooling design.
· Worked on precision welded assemblies for high pressure application per ASME Boiler Code.

Developed new and value analyze existing flow meters and weigh/time calibrators utilizing flow dynamics and thermodynamics.
· Developed, conducted flow analysis, and constructed weigh/time calibrator 10,000 GPM capacity, and 2" to 16" diameter turbine meters for water flow measurement, and other flow meters.
· Participated in NIST research of flow patterns over various obstacles and its effect on flow meter

· Redesigned the manufacture of metal to metal sealed mass flow meter for semi-conductor industry that cost $2500 to build in Japan to only $650 to be built in the U.S. Improved sales $2 million and increased share of market 20%.
· Researched existing and designed/improved low flow metal tube purge meter for gases to the chemical industry. A patent was granted for the electrical alarm. Annual sales $3 million.
· Developed a new special metering sonic flow valve for use in florescent tubes production. Annual sales $1 million. (GE application)
R&D Engineer
Designed and developed sprinklers, valves, fire protection alarms, check valves, and other fire protection equipment.
· Successfully designed a butterfly valve for manufacture in the U.S., which was manufactured in Korea. Significant increase in quality at reduced cost. Annual savings of $2 million.
Responsible for the designing, development, and testing of Gas meters, i.e. domestic and industrial positive displacement meters, axial flow valves, differential manometers, pressure regulators, and pressure/temperature correcting devices. This includes small precision mechanisms, linkages, variable speed transmissions (CVS).
